The mining industry has been poorly served by digital platforms — most tools built for it feel like they were designed in 2008. Miner Place set out to change that: a modern, trust-first marketplace where equipment buyers and sellers could transact with confidence. The brand needed to walk a careful line. Too polished and it would feel foreign to a traditionally tactile industry. Too rough and it would undermine the trust the platform was built on. We landed on a visual language grounded in industrial materials — raw metal, worn texture, the kind of weight that signals reliability. The marketplace experience itself was designed around the specific friction points of high-value equipment transactions: verification, provenance, condition documentation, and cross-border logistics.
